Alpine Lakes Annecy_

At the forefront of nautical and outdoor activities, the alpine lakes do not have to be ashamed of the seaside. Like the Italian lakes, they embody a style of vacation. Lake Annecy, Lake Geneva, Lake Bourget, Lake Aiguebelette, each has its specificities.
In a natural setting, at the foot of the mountains, the four glacial lakes of Savoie and Haute-Savoie are vacation spots to be discovered as you wish. A source of vitality and varied sensations, there are many experiences to be had on the shore and on the lakes: sports (cycling, trail running, paragliding, hiking, climbing, canyoning, etc.), nautical (Stand up paddle, rowing, canoeing, diving, water skiing, sailing, kiteboarding, windsurfing ...) and gastronomic. The seasonal wings, spring and autumn, are suitable for staying on the sidelines of the summer season, which is the busiest.
In summer, the water is as hot or even hotter than the sea or the ocean for swimming: the beach in the mountains? The four large developed lakes of Savoie and Haute-Savoie are veritable mini-seaside resorts, each with its own particularities.

Reblochon
Reblochon is a cheese from Savoie, best known for its tartiflette recipe, of which it is one of the main ingredients. However, this soft and creamy cheese is not only tasted hot and melted, it is also delicious raw.
It takes its name from the verb "reblocher" which means, in Savoyard country, to milk the cows twice. Indeed, in the Middle Ages, the peasants had to pay a royalty according to the production of milk. They only carried out part of the milking during the control in order to minimize their due. Once the controller left, they carried out the second part of the milking. It is from this fraud that its name was born.
