Cotes du Rhone
Over 200 km, between Vienne and Avignon, the Rhône valley has the largest regional appellation after Bordeaux; it is also one of the oldest appellations of controlled origin. On the left bank of the Rhône, the pebble soils mixed with red sandy clays are excellent terroirs for the vines. The red wines, which are in the majority, have a great diversity which corresponds to that of the soils and microclimates.

Burgundy
A historic vineyard, one of the oldest in France, modeled in the Middle Ages by the monks, then the Dukes of Burgundy, and rich in estates with often modest appearances, but of great prestige. The one which, despite its small size (3% of the French vineyard), offers the greatest number of appellations of origin. One of the most prestigious as well, synonymous with fine wines. The homeland of pinot noir and chardonnay, which reign supreme there.

Beaujolais
Beaujolais extends its vineyard over 50 km long and 15 km wide east of the Saône, between Mâcon in the north and Lyon in the south. If it is legally attached to wine-growing Burgundy , it differs in more than one way. Through its landscape, a varied set of gentle hills and valleys, through its terroirs of sand and ancient rocks, through its grape variety and the almost undivided domination of red wines from Gamay, and finally through its cultivation and winemaking methods.

Savoy wine
Savoie mainly produces white wines that are low in alcohol and rich in natural carbon dioxide. Nervous, tangy, these Savoy wines are ideally suited to mountain gastronomy. The finest come from the Altesse grape variety, from the Roussette de Savoie appellation, and above all from Roussanne, from the Chignin-Bergeron appellation.
Chasselas from Crépy, Marin or Ripaille are more common, especially with the fashion for residual sugar. Wonderfully thirst-quenching, the best red wines from Mondeuse equal in color and finesse the good Syrah vintages, with the same aromatic range of pepper and small red fruits.
