Pont d'Arc
You can come dozens of times to Pont d'Arc, you are always surprised and amazed by this extraordinary site. A unique geological curiosity in the world, this grandiose natural arch was pierced into the rock by the passage of the Ardèche river.
Located at the entrance to the Gorges de l'Ardèche, the Pont d'Arc measures 54 meters high, 60 meters wide, and is at least 500,000 years old! This is the must-see photo spot in the area!

The Pont d'Arc cave
In a deep cave, the first artists in the history of mankind painted a masterpiece : horses, lions, rhinos and many other animals caught live, running, hunting or fighting.
Thirty-six thousand years later, scientists, engineers and artists have achieved a feat that is unique in the world. They reconstructed this original cave: the Chauvet 2 Ardèche Cave, making visible this extraordinary collection of paintings and engravings , and perceptible the emotion that struck the discoverers of the cave twenty years ago. By entering the cave, in the middle of stalagmites and stalactites, you discover the universe which was that of men and women 36,000 years ago.
For an hour, you walk on a footbridge punctuated by 10 observation stations and discover the 27 panels of the cave.

Aven d'Orgnac
A stone's throw from the Gorges de l'Ardèche, explore the work of Nature and travel to our origins, in the heart of a Grand Site de France labeled since 2004 by the Ministry of the Environment. Under the thick forest of holm oaks, the Grotto reveals its mysteries while on the surface the first Europeans left traces of their passage...
Did you know? The Pre-Neanderthals lived 350,000 years ago near the balms around Aven d'Orgnac. Visiting the City of Prehistory means living a moving face-to-face with our ancestors and better understanding who these children, women and men were not so far from us!

Vogüé
Charming village of Vogüé… Small houses tightly packed together, at the foot of imposing cliffs. Stone cobbles, typical of old Ardèche villages. Narrow streets (by the way, will you manage to find the rue des Puces, the narrowest street in France?). A perfectly renovated castle, and its hanging gardens from which the view is magnificent... And all that, by the river...
Yes yes, it's a dream but it's really like that! One thing that we love to do when we go to Vogüé is to go up to the Chapelle Ste Cerice. Called by the locals the "Gleyzette" (small church), this Romanesque chapel is built on the rock. Perched at the top of the cliff, it overlooks the castle and the village. It's a magical point of view!
